St Austell Station AFA Scheme

Project: St Austell Station AFA Scheme
Client: Raymond Brown Construction

As part of a national programme to improve access to the UK’s rail network, our client was contracted to carry out improvements at the Grade II listed St Austell station in Cornwall.  The centrepiece of the works was the construction of a new footbridge and staircase to replace the historic 19th century original.

To complete the works B&G Machining supplied and installed a stainless steel water catchment system to the entire structure. The station remained operational at all times and we worked in close cooperation with the main contractor to enable to project to be completed satisfactorily and to schedule.
